Fostering and Assessing Students Creative and Critical Thinking Skills in Higher Education

6D Room - Central building - corso Duca degli Abruzzi 24

This workshop will introduce you both to the nature and aims of the OECD project and also provide you with theoretical and practical information about creativity and critical thinking in learning and teaching at college/university.

In workshop sessions you will learn about, and be able to try, techniques and approaches that are already widely used.

You will also have space to think about how these might work for your own teaching, or to come up with ideas of your own.

Above all, and especially if these ideas are new to you, we hope you will enjoy the opportunity to discuss their potential for your own courses openly and constructively with the group.

Coordinator: Alison James, Professor Emerita of the University of Winchester.
