The chinese new town - with the prism of the circulation of urban models, towards a methodological approach

China Room is a China centered group of researches that operates within Politecnico di Torino. For this year China Room presents a Lectures Series on Chinese architecture and cities that will take place starting from March up to May 2019.
The China Room Lectures Series 2019 includes contributions of some of the most important scientific voices of the international debate on Contemporary China. Some of the speaker who will take part to the debate will be: Florence Graezer Bideau, Guanghui Ding, Yang Dingliang, Carine Henriot, Christopher Lee, Xuefei Ren, Francesco Silvestri, James Wei Ke, Austin Williams.

The series collects different events organized by China Room within the Ph.D. program in Urban and Regional Development - The City after Chinese New Towns -, the PhD course in Architecture History and Project - How to study contemporary China? Methods of scientific research in Architecture –, the Master's Degree course in Architecture Construction and the City and other events organized at Politecnico di Torino.
