6th Nagamori Awards
Motors are now an indispensable part of our daily lives. It is claimed that motors use 55% of the electricity generated around the world today. This is why the research and development of motors is now a truly significant theme for both creating affluent lives and permanently conserving the global environment.
Nagamori Awards aim to recognize the works of those who achieved innovative research and development results especially through active engagement in motor-, actuator-, and power generation-related research to address such major issues as “creating affluent lives” and “permanently conserving the global environment.” Any format may be used to describe your innovative research or development achievement so long as it is in the field covered by our Awards, but your achievement must be clearly understood in a form of writing such as a thesis, a patent, or technical report (written by you alone or jointly with others).
- Nagamori Awards will be given to approximately six(6) people.
- The winner of the Grand Nagamori Award will be announced during the ceremony.
- The Grand Nagamori Award winner will receive a prize of 5 million yen, and each of the Nagamori Award winners will receive 2 million yen.
No candidates will receive multiple Awards.
