The cycle of lectures, called ENDLESS FORMS MOST BEAUTIFUL (C. Darwin, On the Origin of Species 1859), aims to explore what environments we live in today, and in how many ways they can be said. From the great vectors determining space on a global scale, such as climate warming, to the developments of unprecedented local characteristics, life forms are affected by transformations that untie and re-link their ecologies with unpredictable results.
The process of adaptation to these changing environments thus becomes a fundamental question for the architectural project, even in the redefinition of itself: how does architectural design affect the production of our environment today? What are the innovative approaches to look at the relationship between urban and rural dimensions? What are the design strategies for new paradigms of living? What are the proposals for moving in spaces inhabited by artificial agents and whose boundaries with the digital are becoming increasingly blurred? Finally, what is the possible contribution to understanding the relationship between man and other forms of life, not least viruses?
