NiPS – EnABLES Summer School 2021 “Powering the Internet of Things 2021”
The Noise in Physical Systems Laboratory organizes the NiPS - EnABLES Summer School “Powering the Internet of Things 2021” dedicated to the themes of Energy Harvesting, Storage, Micro-Power Management and Systems Integration.
This is the fourth - and last - training and dissemination event jointly supported by the University of Perugia (Italy) and the EU-funded EnABLES project (scholarship no. 730957). The Summer School will take place in Perugia from 15 to 18 September 2021, parallel to the SR40 International Conference, relating to the 40th anniversary of the first paper on Stochastic Resonance.
The NiPS - EnABLES School, which brings together international scientists from academia, research centers and industry in the thematic area of Energy Harvesting, offers the opportunity for young researchers to be aware of the state of the art and also to generate new foundation for innovative technologies in the field of energy collection and transformation on the micro and nanoscale and its use to power sensing and communication devices
The school is open to doctoral students, young researchers and in general to all scientists and professionals interested in the physical foundations and practical applications of energy transformations on the micro and nanoscale.
This year the event will be organized in mixed mode, in order to guarantee the running of the School even if the limitations will persist - due to the Covid-19 pandemic: a virtual presence or participation in presence.
